Nov 01, 2017 · Even though Minca is cooler than the nearby Caribbean coast, it still gets nice and hot here, and there are several great local swimming spots where you can cool off. One of these is the impressive Marinka waterfall: a short hike through the forest from Minca gets you there, and for a small admission fee, you can cool off in the pool at the Aug 18, 2019 · And while Minca can be seen as a day trip from Santa Marta, you should consider staying the night.

At first sight, Minca is not appealing. A couple of dirt roads lead to a church on the main square, and moto-taxis are everywhere. It's loud and hot. You won't know where to go or what to do.
